Grimm Grimm Former Screaming Tea Party-member Koichi Yamanoha was once better known for his scream than his whisper. ‘Hazy Eyes Maybe’, the Japanese-born, London-based musician’s debut LP under the moniker Grimm Grimm, changed all that with a subdued record of ruminant, nocturnal acid folk. Grimm Grimm artlessly surveys the fabric of shoegaze (Yamanoha co-founded the label Pickpocket records with Kevin Shields in 2014), Shugo Tokumaru, 60s West Coast pop and the melodicism of early Belle & Sebastian.
