Oiseaux-Tempête gave an overwhelming and immersive performance at Le Guess Who? 2019. For Bandcamp Friday, the cross-cultural, multi-genre improv group now officially release the recordings of Oiseaux-Tempête & Friends live at Le Guess Who? 2019.

For this special performance, titled Oiseaux-Tempête & Friends, the group was joined on stage by G.W. Sok (King Champion Sounds, formerly The Ex), Jessica Moss (Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band), Mondkopf and Radwan Ghazi Moumneh (Jerusalem In My Heart, also LGW17 curator). All these musicians were also involved in Oiseaux-Tempête’s 2019 album ‘From Somewhere Invisible’.

Listen below. As a bonus-track, this digital-only release also features a songlike form for 'Out Of Sight / A Simple Desire' recorded in quintet a few months after LGW at MARQ in Clermont-Ferrand.

Today, Friday April 1st, all proceeds of the album via Bandcamp will go directly to the artist:

"Mighty and majestic, powerful and gripping, Oiseaux-Tempête stood at a crossroads of light and darkness, deftly traversing a sonic terrain that stands as a powerful testament to the range of emotion they can grasp" - Cast the Dice
